NANCY BURSTEIN

Executive Director

Nancy is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned a four-year degree in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. She has a background in Theater and Retail Management and has also worked for the School District of University City in various capacities, both paid and voluntary. She was PTO President at the elementary and middle school and was Band Booster President at the High School; she served as Administrative Assistant and Attendance Specialist at U City High, as well as Costume Director for the Spring Musicals for the last 21 years.

Nancy has been married to her husband Jay for 41 years, and together they have two grown sons Dan and Terry, daughter-in-law Katie and just recently, a beautiful grandson Jack. When she is not involved in working for the Chorus Nancy loves to read both biographical and fiction novels, cook extraordinarily decadent recipes and needlepoint.

Nancy has spent much of her life promoting the Arts and is looking forward to her new position as Executive Director of the Chamber Chorus. Nancy has expressed “I have been filled with a wealth of knowledge and passion for this wonderful organization of singers led by Artistic Director Philip Barnes and I hope to carry out my position with the same tradition of excellence and enthusiasm.”
